FRK

Tyrosine-protein kinase FRK UniProt accession P42685

Non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase that negatively regulates cell proliferation. Positively regulates PTEN protein stability through phosphorylation of PTEN on 'Tyr-336', which in turn prevents its ubiquitination and degradation, possibly by reducing its binding to NEDD4. May function as a tumor suppressor

Interacts (via the SH3-domain) with PTEN. Interacts with RB1

Synthetic Lethal Network

Genes with an experimentally identified or computationally predicted synthetic-lethal relationship to FRK, aggregated across our SSL data sources. Click any partner node to view that gene’s page.

Nodes and edges are coloured by the SSL data source. Partners appearing in more than one source are shown in grey.
